"I was quite amazed," Paul recalls. "They called my name and my partner, and I started screaming and hugging".

Paul Beebe, originally from Northern Beaches Harley-Davidson, is the reigning top technician and was recently awarded the prestigious Harley-Davidson APAC Technician of the Year title. He secured this win through his superior skills in diagnostics, procedural accuracy, and expert use of tools.
His journey reflects the rigorous training levels required to reach the top. While entry-level technicians focus on standard maintenance, and advanced techs handle complex repairs, Paul has reached the Master level of Top International Tech - the highest certification possible, requiring years of hands-on experience and specialised expertise in high-level diagnostics.

Despite the global accolades, Paul remains grounded. For him, the win wasn't just a personal milestone; it was about the team at Harley-Heaven Sydney.
"I’m just really glad that I could make my co-workers proud," he says. He credits the culture at the dealership - where the techs are knowledgeable and always happy to share their expertise - as the "secret sauce" that helped him develop his world-class skills.
