Its not every day when your boss walks up to you and says “ I want you to build me a custom bike” and that’s exactly how this project started. The paint set was the first thing put on the list and everything else came from there. Ricky decided that since the paint job was in a matte finish he would go for a black and chrome theme on this bike. Exhaust system was an easy pick with the Vance and Hines Side shots in chrome next on Ricky’s to do list was the grips and peg collection, the edge cut collection was chosen to represent the chrome and black theme, Ricky also threw on some Edge cut levers. It was then when Ricky realized how cheap the Genuine Harley Davidson Typhoon wheels are, they were also added to the list now this really got the project moving along. Someone in the shop mentioned a chrome engine kit and what chrome kit wouldn’t be complete without a set of Screamin Eagle 211 cams, they made the bike really lumpy at idle but didn’t make it a pig to ride on the open roads. Since the cams were going to be done Ricky decided to put a Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather and Race tuner on there to get the most out of the bike. This was one of my favorite bikes to build it took a little longer than expected but it was definitely worth the wait.
